I saw that ad yesterday, that thing is HUGE!!!!
Tripple's too, I bet she is thirsty! But, I guess if you got 650K, gas isn't gonna be a problem, wicked boat, I have only ever seen one in a magazine called "Foxtrot Oscar" I think it has tripple 850's in it

I saw that boat in the water at fastboat's in pompano beach and the boat is HUGE in the water and sitting at the dock .
just unbelievable in person and it sounded great to :)

n20michael 02-04-2012 08:09 PM

Actually, I think I have seen one with tripple 1075's, it went to Europe to one of the "Fendi" kids if I am not mistaken, killer boat!

offshoredrillin 02-05-2012 06:12 AM

I think all of them are trip 1075's, with the exception of the one with stagger 1350's that Phil did?

The second one (I believe) had 850s in it. And the second to last one built called "Five-0" had tripple 700's.

Here's the one for sale in Key West.

Last photo is of the matching 20' Cig that was built at the same time.

Not sure...Phil sold it in late 2010 I believe. Michigan I want to say.

Im gonna hold out & wait for when the 50 SS's become affordable.

Why is the triple set up inverted ?

Thanks Tank. Always liked that twenty. The metal grain in the silver with the orange accents along with the clean yet basic interior compared to some of Phil's other twentys put this one on the top of my list. Phil's creativity and Craftsmanship along with Harold's talents always result in a masterpiece. Love to see that twenty sitting on my pier on day.

I agree the SS is the bomb; cockpit's too big in the Marauder and I would rather have the 2 staggered 1350's. That said I think they've only built 1 so far so you'll likely be waiting a while...

The first 8 Marauders were built with the triple motor package and the reverse motor set up (two in the front, one in the rear - keep your minds out of the gutter!)...The 9th (triple 700's and NXT's) was built with twins to the rear and single to the front like a traditional set up. The 10th was the first SS with the new deck (lengthened), cockpit (shortened) and first to have twins.

The thought for the uncoventional triple set up was always CG consideration, however the 700 trip boat with the conventianal set up performed EXCELLENT!!

Photo of the 700 50 (#9). The silver / orange 50 is #8 built. More photo's of her.

If you really want it, call Phil and let him know you'll buy it. Like they say, everythings for sale!;)

i'll just ask for a ride in yours when you trade the Glad in. ;)

Actually, I dug out the old magazine that had "Foxtrot Oscar" in, it has tripple 850's, the same mag had a story on the Cigarette Vice [and I have wanted one EVER since!]

Personally I think a Marauder and a Vice would be pretty impressive "book ends" tied to your local "powerball winners" dock! LOL

Michael

Thanks for posting pics Tank, gorgeous boats!
