Trim Tab Cables
 

I need to replace the trim tab cables on my 91 Top Gun. Does anyone know the length for the port and stbd cable. I would like to order them in advance.

Can't believe no one has changed cables. Someone must know the lenght.

I just did a port outdrive and it was 23 feet. Also, the length is usually printed about 2' in from each end.

P-26
S-21

OutDrive:
P-25
S-24

Throttles:
P-24
S-22

Shift:
P-24
S-22

replace all 4 going to the indicaters .terrible job but the others ill be bad before you know it .also replace with tfx extreme cables

Sorry, I don't have all the cable lengths for the Mystique. I might have the throttle and shift cables though. Presently on the road this week. I'll check when I get home this weekend.

thanks kurt, I'm looking for the length of the port trim tab, they changed that on out, at one time or another, maybe when the motor caught fire like you said, but it looks to be about 3 foot to long.....

i just changed my shift cable, the length was right on the cable, you try looking at the cable?

Boomer, someone had changed the port tab cable, its way longer then the other cables up at the console where it mounts to the indicator, just thought someone might know the length...

ill look for you, ill be at the boat either tomorrow or early this week. I have to swap out my new cable, so its no problem at all

Do you happen to know if the outdrive lengths noted are the same for a 2007 38TG?
