Thanks guys! I got the engines ready to come out of the Baja tomorrow, the cig came with red tag BW, I have grens, I gotta make a 1" spacer to put between mount and plates so I don't have to redrill stringers, I am gonna use 2" wide aluminum stock and trim it perfect..I don't wanna use the reds either especially since I have the bell coolers and all on mine, wanna keep what I got.

Will you still have the same engagement depth on splines?

Where are the mounts for the rear offshore mount? Or does this boat just not have them?

I had the 1985, and put some sweat and tears into it. I had it for 4 seasons. The ride and balance were perfect. Enjoy the boat

Yup the 2 on the right.
Those are Lsjr pics form years ago when we were in Jersey

David still has that boat but the bought a 39 Cig about 3 years ago and only uses it as a spare when the 39 is out of commision.
They own 2 marinas in Point Pleasant NJ so its no biggie for them.

Standard mounts in the back.....trans bolts to motor and sits on transom plate like a bravo boat bellhousing would

Congrats, you will love it. Had a 1981 for eight years before buying a Top Gun. You can't beat the ride and handling. I miss the handling. Good Luck.
