Make some offers. The two Pier 57 have been for sale for quite a while.

H20 Toie 06-16-2012 01:01 AM

Check with Lipship he usually knows of ones that aren't listed yet.

The only problem you may have is that they didn't make a lot of 07's and newer and of the ones they did a bunch went to Europe

looks nice... I would be leery of that silver carbon fiber int... dont seem to hold up well... looks like it has, the good stellings headers also a big plus.

redbud35 06-18-2012 08:20 PM

The blue one is gorgeous! It was on the cover of Powerboat.

DRB 06-19-2012 09:34 AM

Where is this Cig advertised? Checked OSO, Boat Trader and Yacht World and don't see it. What's the asking price?

redbud35 06-19-2012 03:07 PM

I think it was on ebay a while back.

bigfarmer 06-20-2012 09:22 PM

what ever happened to Helios....that boat would be worth waiting for...!!

nate 06-20-2012 10:10 PM

my vote would be AMII, one of the baddest 46s out there

I think my 2007 w/ 700s is for sale again. Not sure who has the listing. Similar colors to the one above.. Blue & Siler.

None of the interiors on these boats hold up for long at 100+.

PromoProducts-BP 06-21-2012 06:02 PM

If you can afford to buy a fairly new 39' Unlimited, you probably don't have issues replacing the interior (or shouldn't at least).

I called performance boat a few days ago on another subject and not even a return call!

Too funny that I sold the boat for 235k with trailer and 30 some hours. My refresh on everything was 150k. I guess it has really appreciated in price in a year.

Should of called me back.

Strange, normally PBB is excellent with customer service. They have really turned that place into a class act.

Look who you sold it to. Ya think Scott sold it for the same price?

bigfarmer 06-23-2012 11:32 AM

Has it changed hands from who Jer sold it to? Or is it the same owner? I'm not gonna pay 335 if he olny paid 235 for it? Anybody know the current owner? Is it in as good of shape as when jer had it?

Rich guys or those guys that use to have money can't do math very well.....

If you really put 150k into the boat then sold it for 235k that means AMII was worth 85k without the "refresh"? Please we aren't that stupid!!!

It's no one's fault but your own that you lost your shirt on the boat...

Boating always sets apart those who actually "have" money & those who think they "have" money.

Nothing like getting in too deep then having to dump your boat to a dealer!!

Ran with it yesterday on the mwbp poker run. Met the owner, even tied up next to it at a couple stops. Boat is in excellent condition. Good luck to the next owner. The boat is worth what someone will pay for it in today's ecomony. A badass boat none the less.

Exactly, cigarette owners are like a family, were all friends! What's with the hostility? Nobody asked why the boat went cheap, I asked the current condition. Believe me I highly doubt the boat was sold due to bank roll issues....!

Actually there's only one post, they other one was deleted I see a pattern here.

BraceYourself 06-25-2012 07:37 AM

Actually I'm trying to help fellow boaters out. When u go to buy a boat the sales guy tend to underestimate or forget to tell u what these boats cost to run.

I sold the boat because I bought a house on an island and a plane for my transportation. Also when the merc turbos came out I felt I needed to dump it as quick as possible. The life cycle on the new engines and maintenance program is going to make buyers turn away from the old technology.

I bought AM II for 430k but also had a trade. I put another 320k into it for a grand total of 750k. The refresh of engines, trannies, headers, tailpipes, props, drives, paint, and r/r was 150k. To keep the boat perfect the buyer should expect to spend 150k every 130hrs if they want it showroom condition. Sure u can spend less but the engine work isn't being done by merc and the paint isn't being fixed by taod to name a few things. When u have a boat at this level I think it's best to spend the money on the best.

The market to sell a boat is tough and what boats actually sell for is low. I had plenty of potential buyers but the song and dance of potential buyers aggravated me. I also knew to let the boat sit for months while I waited for a buyer to show me the money wasn't smart. Big power doesn't handle long periods of down time.

There's a lot of smoke and mirrors in high performance boating. Just trying to educate someone on what it takes. If u think I'm lying about any of this or that I'm bitter on the amount of money I spent. I'm not. Boating has given me some of the best memories of my life and if I had to spend the money again I would in a heart beat. I'm just on a boat break for the time being.

.
