Hello to all!

Coming out of a 1992 Top Gun and "stepping it up" to a 2001 twin step, completely redone in 2010 with paint, interior, and engine refresh by Sterling.

I haven't seen it in person yet, but my partner on the deal picked it up from Michigan and delivered her to her new home on Grand Lake on Tuesday morning. The paint by TAOD "is amazing" according to all who have seen it and she should be waxed and ready to run by tomorrow! Unfortunately, I won't be able to get out on her until next weekend. :(

She got Blee's blessing today and I hope he will give me some pointers on the differences between the flat and stepped hulls. He has already offered to give a few lessons as will Brad (BW/NY on the forum, my co-owner).

Any other advice would be appreciated! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!

Dave

Reportedly 104 mph with the boost up. Ran 94 mph on the sea trials on a mild tune. Brad says the midrange torque is what sets it apart.

Nice to meet you, too, Scott! We will be up there next Friday and look forward to running with you if you are around!

4195 06-25-2012 11:29 AM

Very nice and congrats! My advice is keep changing the oil in those drives, that is a lot of horse power for Bravo's.

Thanks for the advice. They are actually IMCO SCX drives but yes, a lot of horsepower for them!

That's exactly what I was just thinking about! Is CMI still making about the best switchable exhaust?

RedMatter 06-25-2012 11:15 PM
