The hits just keep coming. After thinking it was a voltage issue and trying to figure that out and calls to the rigger about it. The boat was rigged with a wrong bell house it sets the starred back 5/16” and was only contacting the tip of the flywheel. So now motor has to come out. New ring gear and find a top mount TRS bell house with no coolers or have this one mached down. Btw 14 hours are on the boat. If any one has TRS top starter bell house with out the coolers I am Looking for one.

On the bright side you actually got to go boating..................meanwhile here on land we don't even have a boat put together enough to have problems.

Time to do some flooring in the boat. Marine mat has purple. So that’s the brand that will
be used. Think diamond pattern with charcoal gray top layer with purple groves. Maybe red outline of the cockpit? No cigarette logos (like them but trying to keep it simple like the rest of the boat. Maybe a oval and 1 in the foot rest.

Not sure what to do on colors yet but purple And dark gray for sure

Holy crap! I just went through this whole thread for the first time. 9 years!! You must have the patience of a saint.

Project looks fantastic!! Did you paint the outside too. I see you moved away from red and going purple.

9 years yeah did not realize that till today also. The boat has a whopping 14 hr on it since it was put back together. Lots of should have done like bravo drives.... and some other small things like should have done the purple suede seats and never realize it did not have a all-around light. it’s got a transom light. Maybe the transom light is supposed to be the all-around light? I don’t know. No haven’t painted the out side yet. Would like to go all white with tickfaw 200 down it in a decal. But that’s a solid 10k that I dont won’t to spend on it at this time need to actually enjoy it.

then when the issue came up with the starter I got pissed off after spending lots and lots of money. Having to pull motors and all tha bs to make it right was not something I was Up for. It’s been sitting for almost 2 years now in it’s shop. Would turn the motors by hand to keep them from sitting in one spot. Got unpissed off about a month ago and had a custom built starter made with a longer throw so I did not have to tear everything apart. Works great now.
