looking for 30' or larger for 20

I am looking around just to see what is out there. I have a 20 budget and looking for something 30’ or larger (clean) with a trailer and minimum of two 454 or larger engines. What’s out there? And sorry but no projects unless it’s a steal.

Ok then, what about opening it up to project boats for under 20?

You might find a decent "project" for 20K, but, I doubt it will be a Cigarette, unless its 40 years old. Its up to you, but, I would be REAL careful about buying a "project", I have known several people who bought what they thought was a "great deal" or "easy fix" and ended up spending twice as much as they would have to buy something "complete". Its unbelievable how fast the "little" things add up. I know 2 different people who bought boats figuring it was just gonna be a matter of "throw in motors and drives" and be good to go, but, when you start adding up all the other "rigging" items it gets pricey quick. I do have a buddy who bought a project and is happy with it, but, it was more of a Hobby/project and he really didn't care what the final bill was, he was just obsessed with having a specific boat and making it unique, which is fine if money isn't a concern. but, for the rest of us..............

Agree, been there before, I got lucky with my Cig being very cheap with no engines, but it truely JUST needed them, and I had the doner boat sitting next to it, that is a rare case...

I do understand your project point of view, I have been through a few of these already and it can easily add up but like anything I think if you don’t do your homework then you can only blame yourself for the added cost. I am on my third project boat now and have yet to blow my budget.

O and 32,000 is just slightly more than 20,000 concerning the 35’ cafe racer.
Just more than I can do right now.

Nice boat and all but 20 is a hard budget. The best I could do is fudge the line but not much more than 1 or 2g and that would all depend on the location of the boat. Some how I still need to get it home and that’s not free.

No offense but you need to lower your standards. You are shopping for champange and only have money for beer.
