Bullet is a great boat for its size. Talked to the owner a couple months back and he is negotiable. Seems like a good deal. Bullet gets my vote for sure! :thankyouthankyou:

25k to rebuild 2 engines sounds a little much.

25k is exactly what I spent last winter having two 540's rebuilt. Bullets are a big heavy 31 ft. and handle big water great. It appears everthing has been done to this boat other than the paint. Can't see the dash though. Hydraulic steering is a major plus. Looks real clean and priced in line with some other bullets. Receipts are always good.

The motors were done by a local builder that actually did the motor in my drag car...maybe a bit expensive for 468's but i know first hand the work was done right..Dart heads, je pistons, etc etc....Im more just wondering on the boat in general....
Ive read that they are wave crushers. I am concerned with speed because thats why i boat but to own a Cig would be one thing off the bucket list!

My 92 Bullet ran 82 with 575 a side. Really fun boats. Scream through 3 ftrs all day long.

Give him a call on it. He is a friend of mine and everything that was done on it was done right and well taken care of. I never got to ride in it so not sure of the speeds he was running. My bullet runs low 60's with stock 454 mags and just like it was already said, definitely a wave crusher and beatiful riding boat.

25k to rebuild 2 engines sounds a little much.

When your talking new Dart heads, inconel valves roller cam intensive porting polishing dart intakes etc. Not to mention new stainless marine exhaust new HP gimbals/bell housings new transom assembly etc X 2 it adds up quick.
Hey Ironman...that price is good for 30 days....you better jump on it.

Nice ride

Having owned mine for several years now and getting to run in the Atlantic some of the time, there has never been another 30' range boat that can run in 4-5 footers like my Bullet. AND you can never go wrong with the number 1 on the side.

Hey Kevin
Good talking to you a while back. What size props were you running?

You also Stan.... Your boat sounds really nice. I think it should sell pretty quick....I was using 28P Bravo 1 4blades labbed by Bblades. Spinning engines to 5400 RPM.

That's what my boat is lacking, was thinking of starting with 28's. Never had the chance to prop the boat.

Another nice one!

Nice looking Bullet. You would be hard pressed to find another 31 footer that is better in the rough. You might need bigger tabs on it though...:party-smiley-004:

When I re-rigged the Bullet I chose the 380's...HUGE difference.

Screamineagle 09-11-2012 07:59 AM

I thought about changing my 280's out but was concerned about drive clearence. Yours doesn't look like that would be a problem. Nice looking setup!

Their tapered on the insides. The only problem you'll have is removing the pins from the existing piston and transom plate.
