I was just wondering if any one on Oso had any photos or know where these boats are today??? And how many of each model were made?? I was told 12 21's were made and I have one at loto and there is two other 20's at loto but that's the only ones that I know of.

20' Cig...

Sorry for the delay in writing back - had password problems on this site. You can go on "Lakesiderestorations.com" and look at customers rides and you will see a red 1974 20' Cigarette called "HellCat" on a trailer. That pic is the day I dropped it off a few years back

I have a 1972 20 ft Cig. that I think was 1 0f 3 boats actually manufactured in 1971 but the HIN plate list it as a '72. It also list the boat at 20 ft but it true measures less then that. I was told that was done because of a govt. regulation that became effective in 1972 that required boats less then 20 ft to have flotation foam in the hulls and just changing the length on the HIV plate got around that requirement. This is just hearsay so any information would be greatly appreciated.

I pulled my boat out of Lakeside Restoration - They charged me $83,000 and it still needs major work and I dont even have the engine, drive and steering yet. I truly got ripped off here.

They'd have to take me to court to get that kind of money. NO WAY they could spend that and not finish.
