Interesting Old Cig, 26' with #5 drive
Was browing local classifieds and found this. Looks to be in decent shape, with a nice drive in the back (although looks like a #3 to me, not a #5). Motor looks cobbled together though...

cool boat! those trailer tires look really wide...? not very far from us
|
I don't think its a Cigarette, I don't remember any 26' ever being made
|
What is it?
Looks alot like a Wellcraft Excalibur? Velocity on the steering wheel, never knew of them to build a 26' boat that looked anything like this? Sharp looking boat some good hardware. GMG

I thought it looked kinda wierd, but I'm not a cig expert. So its NOT a cig? Any consensus as to what it is?

well . . . whatever it is it really aint a bad package, i kinda like it. Looks to have some decent hardware and a nice trailer to. Not sure if its 15K nice but could be a good rig for someone.

Well i sent the broker a email and received this....
With no model distintion showing I measured the boat to be 26' 2" overall. I advertised it as 26'. Yes - they made a 26' boat. I sold one in the late 90's as well. This one has had the engine changed to a 502 ... and its been souped up professionally. I don't have the serial number where I am now and do not email HINs. You are welcome to write it down when you see the boat. Murray Sent on the TELUS Mobility network with BlackBerry From: slpcamaross97 Date: Fri, 5 Oct 2012 18:16:21 -0400 (EDT) To: <[email protected]> Subject: 26ft Cig HIN Seen you listing for your cig. Im unaware that Cig made a 26ft. Could you please send me the HIN(hull id number) along with any info about the boat since it looks like a recent restoration. Thank you |
If someone can prove that is a Cig....I would imagine that is one RARE cig. Cool looking rig either way!
