Dave, Lane, and Bev know a thing or two about Cigarette interior. They took my 28 with basically nothing to start with and made it look like a Top Gun JUST by looking at a bunch of pictures.

I can't believe your gonna change it... Love that color combo!!

Looks good.

Make sure you install two brushless 12v fans in your cover, one pulling air in, one pulling air out on the opposite end.

Full Force 03-25-2013 08:23 AM

Thx !

The cover will only show face and heat sinks if I can fit fans I will gonna be tight one good thing is the cabin will have ac so that will help over the little closet the amps used to be in... Too bad the amps are not all same year they are same size just look a little different.. Oh well I already own them lol

Trying to get the wife envolved with the boat. She likes the boat but can't stand the gray. It will put me back a few but she is having one of her painters do the work!!!!!

Tim, Looking great. Dave is going to be a pro at Mistress Cig's. Just stripped my hull getting ready for paint. Figured if we were going to change the colors made sense to do before new interior.

Email me a address and I can send you vinyl samples that your painter can match. Much easier to match paint to vinyl, than vinyl to paint. Ask Tim about the demo I gave him on the stain guard between a couple different marine white vinyls. Best to stay with vinyl products that I know and trust.

Also, update me on your time frame on bringing the boat here.

4 Attachment(s)
Mounting any 10" sub in 1/4" fiberglass is nothing but a rattle trap and a waste. Now glass 3/4" plywood on both sides and bond it all together and mount it in the deck as tight as possible with (4) 10" subs and now we are talking THUMP!

it wasnt, but this will be much better..my buddy has a Alpine marine 10" if your interested...

Drake22.250 03-26-2013 06:18 AM

Pulled one drive off last night, good thing we planned on painting. The nuts were finger loose!!! Other imco standoff box has 3 inches of water in it. Since drives will be off going to have them gone over.
Interior that can be wiped off with after inked, now were talking. I have learned to listen to people that do something for living and go what they recommend.

Full Force 03-26-2013 06:42 AM

Hope the boxes leaking didn't get into transom! Ugh

Drake22.250 03-26-2013 07:53 AM

Find out today, I don't think it did the transom that's exposed under the shaft is solid. If I have to do a transom I know where some #7 arnesons are and they are close.

Drake22.250 03-26-2013 07:23 PM

Still running bravos, transom is good. Bolts were sealed but loose also. Get a break....

Greg's a good dude. Master at boat restorations. His 36 is beautiful. Sold bad habit his 38 last year however he said it will still be floating around the area. His 30 sutphen he is working on is pretty sick. Can usually be found at a KI bar working on a cup of coffee regardless of the time of day or evening.

But we can never get him in his own damn boats most of the time!! LOL

just texted me tonight that BAd Habit was going to Cali...

runafever 03-26-2013 09:11 PM

Ya I think he likes fixing everyone else's stuff. Greg should open his own shop. Very good at what he does. bad habit is a pretty cool boat. I thought a little about owning that one last year .
