Love the 4 seat conversion.
One of things that kept me from buying a gladiator was the tight, very upright back seat. Should be just as nice a ride in the back as the front now! |

Here is the only other pic I have at the moment - I'll try and get the rest sometime this week and post them. I still haven't seen it with the interior LED's on yet.

Jess and I are coming down monday to go look at some stuff at Ginger's. You guys gonna be around? Brett |
I sold my 38 top gun last year and bought a 03 525 staggered Gladiator. I love the boat! I love sitting down and the staggered boat stays hooked up way better than my 38 t.g. Boat runs 90-92. im running a 6 blade herrin. was thinking about whipples. The gladiator doesn't tear the drives up like the top gun. I just did the Miami boat show poker run with it. I love it!

My fav run post a pic!

I have a question, some here have compared the performance differences between a topgun and the gladiator . I always thought the only difference between the two boAts was that the gladiator hull was just a cut down topgun so would not the handling be pretty much the same .

Rick G. I believe the OAL for the Glad is 36-11 and the 38TG 37-6- only 7 inches difference. I can only compare the 39; IMHO the 39 s a better ride and the 36 is more fun to drive.T |

Dragon's an epoxy boat, glads a glass boat. Dragon felt like a cat more than a vee when we ran the first one. Very nice boat.

My ride runs a easy 95mph w/600 HP and 4 blade hearings. Never breaks a drive and makes my competition shake in there shoes. :-)

Spill it Craig!!

I love the idea of a Glad with the 39 bottom! |

What size bravos where you running? I just picked up a gladiator out of the classifieds with na 700's built by Brad Smith and I am having a tough time getting the boat to 90. Although I have had very little seat time in the boat I had hoped it could have broken 90 by now.

Something's not right. My 525 Gladiator ran 96 in saltwater after doing the whipple reflash and turning the rev limiter up.

I can't remember what 4 blade Bravo props i had on it, I sold the boat in 07'. You can call Phil and he can suggest what would be a good starting point. You can also try five or six blade herrings. Is your boat a side by side or staggered engine setup?

you'll see a world of difference. it might sound wrong lowering the props and picking up handling and speed.... but, try it. set up came from tres and worked perfectly on mine - faster and completely hooked up. |
Currently I have - 2 sport masters with a 1 inch spacer, you think I should try a 2 inch spacer? Did your 4 blades have a decent hole shot?

I can only get my 525 Glad up to 85 MPH at 5100 RPM. I am at a lake at 2,060 feet elevation. How much difference if any do you think that would make? I assume it loses some power with altitude since its not supercharged. I do have Herrings on it already.

The fastest Glad 525 staggered props are 4 blade 34's. The trade off is that they are not so good gettting on plane. My 30 6 blade Herings jump right on plane, but you lose 1-2 mph at the top end.

my will hit the water this week new motors 555 w/ whipples still need to change props I have the old 4 blade 32 for now will need help there just a place to start.....I will take all the help I can this prop thing is over my head

I Hope Not ^^^^^^
|
With 32,s you will hit the rev limiters way too soon on a stock 525 boat
|
I am looking for a "in new condition" pair of 32's. or, would be willing to trade a brand new set of 30's that were on the boat 1x.
|
still have the xr drives and did not dyno the motors just had know time will hit the water this week with 500 efi and 4 blade 32 I ran 85
