Nice resto!!

cuposterchild 03-06-2013 09:17 AM

This was the one that was at Lipship for a short time right?

Unlimited jd 03-06-2013 09:42 AM

No the boat that was at lip ship had trs drives, and was more of a gray and black paint scheme I believe

mmb 03-06-2013 09:58 AM

It's pretty sweet!! I am starting to like the classic simple paint jobs myself...

For that price I'd need more details about engines and drives and less about the stereo.

I thought the same thing too but then looked at the new price, the fact that it was painted recently since the the pics that Tank had posted at Lipship....I am pretty sure it is the same boat but could be wrong

lucky strike 03-06-2013 05:11 PM

Someone spent big bucks there!

jeff32 03-06-2013 05:25 PM

wow ! this looks like a new boat! lot of money spent for sure!

It has to be the same one. Same year, same motors, same gauges/gps/depth finder, same bolsters. Looks like it just had some more paint work. Wonder if it really was converted to Bravos or not

thisistank 03-06-2013 07:49 PM

I'd say it is absolutely the same one. Someone had the paint touched up and swapped the drives out. I'd bet the motor pics are the exact same. Someone picked this thing up for under 40k from Phil, put a few grand into it and now re-listed it for 40k more.

It's a very nice restoration never-the-less. 80k nice? I'd take the silver and orange one in the classifieds for that price.

When it was at phils....

I hear 'dirty a$$ filthy don`t bother to wipe them off" drives are high demand.

soggy bottom 03-07-2013 09:09 AM

It's the latest rage, Buy a ciggy put a couple grand in to it, and ask $40.000 more for it.

MILD THUNDER 03-07-2013 09:48 AM

Major upgrade on the bravos. Hmm, lets take a drive good for 500HP, and put a drive good for , well, 500HP on it. Konrads or 3A's woulda been my choice for a Café. Esp if you wanna jack the price up 40g over what ya paid....

Good looking boat though!

chsales 03-07-2013 10:38 AM

If I was looking to massively overpay for a cafe I'd buy this one -

http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/boa/3645662225.html

Or if I had the $ for a nice resto with solid motors I'd buy this (or the silver and orange)
