agi box location
 

can anyone one tell me exactly where i can find the agi boxes,,on a 05 42 tiger w/525 ,,,i replaced a couple of gages,and i didnt see them under the dash,,,like most people have said,,,i do see somthing that looks like an agi box on the back of the engine by the computer,,,but when i look up the part,,it says it,s a module#56 under ignition http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...%28Ignition%29

It will be on the top backside of the engine. Look for the black metal bracket directly behind the intake. You'll notice it holds the fuse holders and circuit breaker. The agi box mounts on the back of that bracket(transom side of the bracket). There are three screws that hold it on the bracket. It's approximately 1" thick, 3" tall, and 4" wide with wires/plug that come out the bottom side of it. They are not labeled as an "agi box". However when you buy a replacement unit they do have a sticker on them to make it easy to identify.
