Mystique blower upgrade

Just finished swapping out the Weiand blowers for The Blower Shop's 575SCI replacement package. Now all we need is open water!

Thanks Quinlan! Got chillers already. Whipple, low pro intake/intercoolers. They are very close to the stock Weiand height, possibly a bit lower. Anxiuos to run and see if these new teflon stripped blowers will gain any boost.

Thanks Dave. Not really expecting any increase as the pully sizes are very close to the same. It was more if a reliability upgrade. I was afraid of the stock blowers failing and causing major issues.

LOoks great! Maybe a pulley change should be in order! Air cleaners look alittle restrictive! Time to get the saws-all out! ..Nice job.

A question because I am looking at chillers also-

Did you add the chillers with the blower upgrade? Or did they clear the lid with the stock blower?
I heard the wipple chillers add about 2 inches and I dont think with the stock blowers that they will fit under my lid without scoops.
Probably need chillers with pully change but the Other half not real happy if I have to add scoops.

We added the Whipple chillers a few years ago, needed smaller pullys as the chillers were a bit of a restriction with the stock pullys. Yes, they add about 2" of height. We had inserts fabricated into the underside of the hatch for the needed clearance. No need to modify the sun pad.

-The TBS blowers are about 5/8" shorter than the stock 575SCI blowers.

Your Top Gun might not need any modification at all as I think there a lot more engine room in a Gun than thre Mystique. I remember years back a friend installed the Whipple chillers on his '02 575 'Gun. I don't remember him having to do any hatch mods.

My O2 has whipple intercoolers, the stock flame arrestors were cut down about 1/4 inch to clear the hatch.

Joe, so many things were changed at the time that I really do not know how much of a difference they made.
