2003 38 Ft. T/G Value
 

Hey,

I have a 2003 38 Ft. T/G with upgraded 650 hp. Mercruisers with about 160 hrs. on them. The boat has either been warehoused or sat on a lift in a boathouse since it was purchased. The thing is mint. Any idea on a fair value for her?

my friend is selling his 2002 with 750's and his is about as clean as it gets. he is asking 125k and money talks soooo...

Nice looking boat. I'd say it depends, do you want to sit on it for a year or sell it. Many of the guys in the classifieds have had the same price on their boat for close to a year. Hint to them...if it isn't selling your price is too high. The guys that have priced their boats right have moved them. $120 to $125 would move the boat fairly quick

I think it is all relative. Boat prices are determined by demand, that is that why power paint condition etc matter. A great boat with ugly paint will sit on the market a lot longer then boat in rougher shape with good paint. Boats are moving better today then the last 2 years. The days of pie in the sky prices are gone but so are the bargain basement steals. Some boats have been maintained to the tee, while others have been neglected. I believe this is where a price difference would come in to play. My guess without seeing your boat would be in $120,000- $145,000 range. Good luck!

Well said..the boat that just sold for $125 with the TAOD paint job and everything redone was a great buy
