Default Had to save this old 20 Cig

Brought this 1974 #18 Cig home last week. Put 2 new batteries in rebuilt carb and an auxiliary fuel tank and she fired right up. Now time to clean her up and fresh paint.

Nice! Cig must have been very busy with the 20's in 1974. Mine's also a '74 produced in April and it's hull #28.

The boat came from Ohio. It's been sitting for 7 years, the previous owner started the restoration rebuilt the motor all new wiring and did a custom dash and fairing before he passed away. The daughter has had the boat sitting in a barn for awhile and decided to let go of it.

After running on the hose pulled the dipstick and there was water in the oil. Pulled the valve covers and intake, this is what I found. Anybody now of any good engine rebuilders in SW Florida?

Diamond in the ruff. Could have a nice small block built for under 4k.
