Ever knew how much room the intertransome plates took up till we mounted one to make sure everything was alined right and would work with the ones we had made with out all the extra bs on them.

The Bullet is looking great Casey, I did the same thing with my plastic big block, but I didn't have the pulleys and the drive coupler on, and I wasn't thinking about that (which I should have been) I was worried about the bigger oil pans clearing the stingers and if the blowers were under the hatch..

You don't know, you have to stand on your head half the time to get to anything, the beam on this thing is only 7'8", that's why I have the magic stick in the one pic, it has a rare earth magnet, on it to go fishing for all the **** I drop in there...

There are a lot of people that have no idea of the challenges involved with working on a boat that has BBC's shoe horned into the bilge, I feel your pain man! Now you know why I am building the engine chassis, I need to be able to pop an engine out and in easily! What is the center to center spacing on your setup? 34"?

Some day I will own a boat where I can do a spark plug check on the inside ports without having to pull a motor!

The center to center on the Mystique is 35", but one good thing about the whipples, with so little room to work with, there good and sturdy, and flat on top, so you can lay across the top of them to get little extra reach you need...
