.....yes my last one getting a bit predictable and obviously the wife well,,,, that speaks for itself the next one in Capri was getting a bit old hat and the last one just ran out of synonyms so i got back to the beginning of the cycle so after a rigorous ( 3 -4 years of thinking) a martini sodden lunch and a few toilet blasts I mean breaks I have two new sexy mistress's.

I cannot believe I'm going to own this thing it is my first go fast and I am cannot explain how excited..
They dont really exist where I am so its even more amazing.

It is a 1977 hull but her captain put in some fresh 502's a couple years ago and he has looked after so well, hell of a nice fella too. Anyway just wanted to put it out there and am rather proud to be in the cig club........plenty of pics to follow.

Was very torn between it and KV Scarab but it basically comes down to the timing and there just wasn't any nice ones ( all tired and not to my standard) around. I will definetly keep it in its lovely condition. I Just think it doesnt get any cooler than the teak and mahogany cockpit and the brightwork.
This is vintage and they dont call them cigarette's for nothing...

Im told these are super classic wavecrushers but am yet to find out. While plenty of experience with boats never around these kinds so probably a few questions for the old veterans to come.

I know this doesnt seem much of a big deal to you guys as you have had many boats and cigs but this will be one of only 2 or 3 I believe Cigarette's in my country and certainly the only oldschool offshore.

The logistics and rules to bring the boat in are unbelievable and it makes life nearly impossible (at least no one bothers)
especially with trailers it is a nanny state and we are all over it! but thats a nother can of worms.

Not sure what will come in the future but im ready for it !!

PS. How do women react to these boats does it attract a certain type and repel another??
am interested as some of my friends from the fairer sex just think of them as so bogan/poor taste while others obviously love it

BTW, ignore the "Freeboard" stuff...real men don't need deep freeboard.. In reality deep/high freeboard is only good for making the pussies on board feel safer!! At least that is what my wife says..LOL

na id leave it with the 1847 paint scheme. it pulls the teak and mahogany cockpit together

freeboard has one other advantage. when having your way with one of the ladies who can't keep her swimsuit on on the rear seat in the daytime...
