Is my 89 Top Gun hull cored with anything on the bottom of the hull? From what I read in the past I did not think they were, but last night I pulled my drain plugs out of the transome and it appears I may have some soft coring in between the glass on the bottom. I am hoping not because if so my project just got bigger!!

I know my 1986 flat deck is cored on the bottom from the transom to about 2 feet into the cabin.

Thanks kvogt, I descovered the same. Not sure how far it goes up, I'm assuming the same distance as yours. I've got a 3"x4" area right at the rear by the drain plugs that is rotton.not to bad, very fixable.just a little more work than I planned. Hey that's boats!!
