2000 Cigarette paint codes

I'm assuming Cigarette used the same certain colors in certain years. Does anyone know the paint codes for any of their boats colors in 2000. My boats a 2000 Mystique

Paint codes are sometimes located under the battery box cover.

Boomer your going to have to take the boat to the paint store or have them come to were the boats at, and have them profit it, so they can match the color for you....went through this cig, they don't have the codes, i'd give you my codes but it probably better to profit so you get a match to your boat just incase mine is a little off from yours....

I went through this a couple years ago, had a scratch repaired, which was there when I bought it. Scratch was pretty bad, went through the purple/yellow/ green graphics on the side. Boomer we have same paint scheme, expect where mine is purple, yours is blue. I did not have any luck finding a paint code and Cigarette was no help to me either. Fortunately the guy I had do the work, was able to match the colors. I know he has some paint left over, if it helps Boomer, Ill see what he has left and ship it to you.

thanks to all 3 of you on the replies. GC that is an awesome offer, I will let you know if it think I need it. TW can you email me what you have from your profit, I will see how close they come to what the guy doing my paint gets.

Im not sure how he matches, but ive seen his work on other boats and I know he does a great job

Pretty disappointing how useless Cigarette is on this one

Boomer what colors do you need Yellow, Blue, Green? I even polished the white gel and profited that so I could get a white paint to match the color of the white gel...

Depends on who painted it, i think they were using both graphic works and dave hunter then. Hunter painted mine when i callex he rTtled the codes right off his head when i told him my boat. Lots of stuff he did was all the same just diff tints added.

look in small areas on the graphics.. Dave hunters company is called invisions, graphicworks logo should be there as well, they all signed their work, usually on the transom.

if you can, it would help me if you were able to tell me the brand of the paint and what the code is for that particular color. I should be able to cross reference it, if nothing else it will confirm what I end up coming up with.

I need all 3 of the colors you mentioned. I am having a guy go over the entire boat and just touch everything up. There is touch up needed in all of the colors. I'd have to bet the same guy who painted your boat painted mine, so if you don't mind, send me what you have for paint codes and brands....

mmb 09-19-2013 09:41 AM

Go down to your local Finish Master and ask them to use there scanner. After you scan the paint they can make a perfect match. That is the only way to do it.

mmb 09-19-2013 09:44 AM

If your paint is custom with with flakes, glitter, candy or pearls it takes a painter that has time to fool around with the mix to get it to match.

mmb is right, that is the best way to get the right match, but I will give you what I got, the paint I used is ChromaBase the green code 415643k that's one code one the can the other is GS199 that's on the can too, the blue is324256k and bs447.....I will get you the yellow its and the shop....but Boomer if your going to use these have them make the smallest amount they can, which is a 1/2 a pint and Yellow and red paint are your most expensive and to have them mix a quart and not have it match is a big waste because they won't take it back....

Boomer just found out those codes I gave you earlier my not work for you, all the codes I have end in "K" which means these are Profited codes, which means they have a tool that takes a picture of the color and makes up a formula for that color, I have to get the formula for the colors not the code, a profited code is only good for the DuPont dealer that I use...I can get the formula for the colors I have, in fact I do have the yellow, this is for a pint...the first number is the mixing color the second decimal number is how many parts if that color....Yellow... 843 / 185.7 next 801 / 27.0 next 890 / .4 next 805 / .3 next 150k / 238.0 that it, that is the mixing parts for yellow, if you take that to a DuPont dealer with that formula he can make you a pint of yellow or convert it to a bigger quantity if you need more that a pint... but still think you should have them profit your boat, so your matching the color you have.... Joe
