SCOPE - The biggest Cigarette membership in the country??
I was thinking about this the other day. Back in 1994 I joined SCOPE and shortly thereafter purchased my first Cigarette. It was a 1993 Cafe Racer with twin 525SC's. It was a great boat and definately made me a diehard believer in the "Oval One."
Today, SCOPE has approximately 12 or 13 members with Cigarettes. We expect that number to increase by about five within the next three to six months or so. I was curious as to the number of Cigarette owners in other clubs around the country. Also, do you guys tend to congregate together like we do. We are definately a fanatical bunch and we seem to always be the only ones proudly displaying the marque with our clothing, etc. Just for information purposes here is a list and the boats in our club: Ken (KWB) - 1999 Tiger, SSM #6, twin 900SC's Jim - 1999 Tiger, SSM #6, twin 900SC's Ron (DevilMan) - 1999 Top Gun, SSM #6, twin 1000 Paul Pfaff Anna (BCC) - 1994 Top Gun, SSM #6, twin 900 Paul Pfaff Jeffrey (Board God 1) - 2000 Top Gun F-2, Bravo Ones, twin 600SC Eric - 2000 Top Gun F-2, Bravo Ones, twin HP500 Larry - 1995 Cafe Racer, Bravo Ones, twin 700SC Gary (Cigarette1) - 1993 Cafe, Bravo Ones, twin HP500's Kevin - 1993 Cafe Racer, Bravo Ones, twin HP500's Storm - 1991 Cafe Racer, Bravo Ones, twin HP500's Dan - 1989 Cafe Racer, TRS, twin HP500's Arthur - 1989 Top Gun, TRS, twin 454's Those on the way in shortly are: Sean - from a 35' Fountain to a Top Gun Jim - from a 29' Scarab to a Top Gun Mike - from a 33' Scarab to a Top Gun Definately a "cult following" forming.:D :D |
There are no clubs that I know of in my area, but all of the cigarette guys usually hang out together at the docks.
If anyone in the Ohio Michigan area reads this and is interested in starting something, or already knows of an existing club let me know. |

dockrocker,
considering there are only 3 41 sabers in exsistence and we have 2 of them I would have to agree. We also have 2 28 sabers as well. Tbone, FPC keeps cigarette in business i think. Those are impressive #'s Dan |
