I do not know the sunkin/damaged step market but, $79 k seems to be about twice as much as this thing is worth. Am I out of touch here?

Seems like even in the pictures, that boat needs quite a few parts and a lot of work. We see turnkey advertised ones in the 110-125 range, they might be selling less. And those are ready for water, granted it is an 04. But it's spring....lol.....almost

Hmmm lets see trailer, engine ebuilds , gauges , helm , wiring , wind shield . upholstry etc. say $ 50,000 plus the cost of the boat $ 80,000. Sounds like the perfect offshore project all that time time, effort and money I think you would need to disclose it had sunk when you go to sell it .

Could buy it then come back on here and blast the seller trying to get money back. Seems to be trend.

ever look at a boat that's been sunk? theres water in everything, it all froze this winter, should have been in heated storage , shrink wrapped with dehumidifier in it If was to be saved. I have seen insurance companys give boats away after they sink.

This hull was just sold for 9,000.00 wow 70,000.00 markup. Flipped twice and sank and sat for almost three years.. Nice boat though...

So what would you have to pay for it, to make it worth while, somewhere around 30 to 40 thou?

Thanks Dean

I think that would be a minimum... It's a shame because it was a beautiful stepped hull...

I think your estimates are conservative.
You forgot drives, glass repair, stereo, god knows what other surprises.

I've seen some very decent twin steps lately for 110 or so. And the occasional one for under 100k needing TLC or a fire sale. At 79k for a wet boat needing to be conpletely gone through? Crazy.
