Don't post anymore pics of that boat. Very sad looking. Perfect example of a project boat.
That will buff out.. How do you let something get that bad? Give away to a charity or something.

But it says in the ad it had a "Good Home" I would hate to see what condition it would be in coming from a bad home!
That one surprised me too. "Good Home" wow

Cigarette abuse hotline report it!

WATCH OUT WHO EVER IS BUYING THIS BOAT STRINGER AND BULKHEADS ARE COMPLETELY ROTTED, THEY ARE SOFT AND DELAMINATING. Deck, floors and transom are completely rotted also. Lower units are cracked from corrosion.

Engines are 330 2 bolt, completely rotted the exhaust and therm housing are cracked.
poor boat, how do people do that????
How long does a boat have to sit there to get in that condition? That is sad.
Yeah but Fiberglass doesn't rot.......Lots of work and $$$ but I did one like this in the early 90's and it still is running around today........One man's Junk is another man's Prize.
I also like the fact that this is an original boat without a crazy paint job to make it look new. Notice the one side that has the hand painted CIGARETTE and the letters "35" in the rear not using the usual oval Racing team decal. I bet this boat look tough when it was new.
i like the "bravo" drives. the engines probably only have a few hours on them like he say lol. it's coming from a good home so i'm sure it will only need a few cosmetics. quick recover on those headrests and she should be good to go, don't even need the sun pad

Boat has not been in the water since at least 05, thats when the last registration was renewed, engines where never flushed with fresh water, engines are locked up and pretty sure cylinder walls are rusted thru, exhaust manifolds and thermostat housings are rusted and cracked from the inside out.
Hatch hinges rusted off. All the Laminated wood on the boat are soft, deck, floor, stringer, bulkhead, transom. Bolsters bolts are completely loose there is no material to bolt to. This is the worst Cig Ive ever seen. We checked transom, stringers, bulkheads, decks with rubber mallet and all wood inside are rotted. Bulkheads are delaminating. Transom assemblies are rotted thru transom, we dont think it will float. Outdrives are completely rotted, lower units are cracked and probably with no oil. Just to get it to a ramp to put on trailer will be a huge Project. ***** BUYERS BEWARE ***** |
