35 T/S mistress questions
 

How many of these were made? What year range?

There were 4 made after Cigarette lost the right's to use the Playboy name. I believe mine is the first, it was built for the Miami Boat show, in 2003 it was used in the 03 and 04 Cigarette Brochure, and was the fastest and most optioned of the 4 they made, and it is for sale :)

They run better then EFI motors, Trust me :) , and yes it is kind of fast :party-smiley-004:

How do these handle compared to a 38 TG TS? Faster, Slower, rough water? All things being equal.

Ironman, good question. Im wondering the same myself. I just sold my Mystique and am looking to upgrade sometime in the future.

The Playboy Edition is also a 35 twin step.. I believe they were made from 2000-2002? and the Mistress was 2003-2004?... both being the same hull, just different model name.

I love the ride of my Mistress T/S, not really sure how to compare it to the Top Gun T/S, the only hull difference is the extra 3ft in the nose and the Top Gun T/S has a notch in the transom. I believe they are very similar in ride quality, at 90 + MPH it runs strait, no proposing, no chine walking , very safe feeling. My Mistress was set up right from the factory, the only things I have changed is the motors( more HP) Drives ( IMCO SC blueprinted ) and props. I had planned to, and outta nowhere LOM sold my boat. so won't make it to the run this year as I won't have a boat.
If I don't get another cat , I'll be looking for 35' V with steps. options are some what limited as I want a faster hull, good build quality, and a few other criteria. The wife really wants a swim platform and cabin, so my cat choices are more limited. We just sold our condo as well so gotta get a lake house first then find a boat to fill the slip with. Just doing a lil research now, WMF's mistress is really looking appealing, I'll see what happens when the time gets closer to purchase something.

I am surprised this boat hasn't sold yet. What is your asking price? Id love to own it but have a full plate for the next 2 yrs....

Everything Bill is saying about his boat is true and it is that fast. I have been in it a few times before.

Not sure why it has not sold myself! on a scale of 1- to 10 the boat is almost a 10, I have every thing that has been upgraded or done to the boat documented in pics and on paper. I have taken care of this boat with a open check book!! It really must be seen in person to really appreciate it!

My guess is at the price point, most would grab a 38. Personally I want a 35 so that's all I'll be looking at when the time is right.

Since i had both a 2002 35 ts and 2008 38 ts i guess i can answer.
the 35 gets on plane way better.
when its rough the 38 handles better
both were great boats, to me the biggest difference was the newer interior on the 08 which gave me more leg room so i could sit down ( i'm 6'4") also on the 08 it had 1 belly tank so you can fill from either side.
i really liked the 35 but the 38 was an all around better boat, again i think it had more to do with the newer style
if you are comparing the same year boat then either one works

Bills is the boat to buy if you are looking for a 35, he has run with me next to my tiger since he bought it, he truly makes them better than when he buys them.
