Is this the Cafe that was on Serious Offshore for 19k last year with trailer? I think smoking gun posted a link to it when it was for sale on SO last year?? I might be thinking about another boat. Sorry if I'm wrong.

There is always somethings wrong for me ! You have the right cabin config im looking for wich is the 2 bench seats on the sides! Most have the face to face seats on the port side wich is no good for me.

On the other hand 420 and trs... Not what i want! I had that in my last boat and they ran great! Just feel like going newer technologies...

How long or tall are those 2 seats? Would need 6 ' tall with a filler cushion to fit the whole family!

I can't get a measurement right now, but I can pretty much lay out straight on those side seats. I'm gonna guess and say they're at least 5' long.

What can one expect to get out of 420s and trs with 500 hours, what is a typical life cycle, I know it depends on many factors, but there must be some rule of thumb.

if they run fine, just run them..... I got a buddy with 1200 hours on his 385 mags, runs fine, turnkey every weekend in a 311 Formula

Not bashing the seller but with 500 hours...unless those motors have been gone thru, they probably need a top end rebuild at a minimum. unfortunately someone will have to factor that into the purchase when buying.

Yeah, been sold since before the resto started

I bought it from a neighbor, now I just sold it again yesterday. I have a baby on the way so I decided to sell it. I really loved the boat but I figured it would be better to sell it than to let it sit. Someday I'll buy another
