Then you have to know the fact that its national marine, the winning bidder will be a friend of someone that works there and be well over 50k

I don't see any bargain to be had here unless you had everything already and it is ready to go in. You can buy Gordon's 03 TS for a little over 100 and the boat is done and ready to go with recent refreshed 525's. That leaves you less than 70K to put this boat back together. I don't know that you could buy just the parts for that let alone any labor involved.

I like the paint, but the interior looks like a rainbow puked on it, just way too busy.

Lets say you had a compatible boat to transfer everything from one to another, what are we talking labor wise to do the work 100 hrs more or less, at anywhere between $50.00 to $100.00 shop rate, does that sound about right?

Just looking at the pics, id say 100-150 hours. Depending on how it was taken apart maybe 200

I don't know where you would find a competent shop to do it for 50 bucks an hour. Maybe Upstate Powerboats but only expect 70% of the boat to be put together before being considered finished

I just threw the $50.00 number there, if there was no hurry and a shop could pick at it over the winter, to fill down time sorta like a body shop does with collision cars that they pick up at they auction, it's better than sending your guys home due to lack of work.

That's how a lot of my rebuild is getting done. The glass and paint are when you have time or need people to keep working. It works for me and him

that boat doesnt look like it needs glass or paint. gather up all the parts and you could have that thing running in a weekend no problem. all the rigging is still there. the sterio can wait. wonder who has the drivetrain sitting in their shop and where is the hatch??

I've got a Top Gun flat hatch (missing sunpad) if anyone buys this boat or interested. It's from a '93
