1994 Top Gun For Sale

This boat used to belong to me, now belongs to a friend of mine. I know its a tough time of year to sell a boat, but I just wanted to give the boat some attention. Its a VERY clean Top Gun. Low hours on the boat and in turn key condition. He is definitely not giving the boat away, but in this case, you are going get what you pay for. Like I said, just putting it out there. Happy Holidays

Wait till the boat shows hit, then you will see some action on boat buying. Right now people are zoned in on the Holidays and stuff like that. Soon as people become board in Jan-Feb, boats will start to sound like a good idea. Plus, people go to the shows and find out that they can't buy a nice bowrider for less then 50k. Just my 2 cents.

My take is, that they have renewed there add several times already and have just given up.

Hey Kevin, noticed a change in your avatar.

jeff32 12-05-2014 07:45 PM

face to face seat on port side in that cig? no pictures to tell...

Drake22.250 12-08-2014 05:44 AM

People must be letting their ads run out after they are sold! 48 cigarettes in classifieds and 5 have sold on them. 48-5 anyone? 43....
With the majority of NEW Cigarettes being the center counsel boats, finding a clean used Cig is only going to get harder to find. Plenty of Beaks listed.

Hey Wayne. yes.I bought a little river boat to help pass some time. With 2 daughters in college now, Top Gun boating funds are low. 2 more years and I should be back!

If your talking about inside the cabin, yes. There is that little table with the face to face seating. I have had both styles, and I prefer this style. In the 1988 I had, it was the old style benches on both sides. What I did notice with that style, is the floor is higher in the older style cabin boat(1988 apposed to 1994) which I didn't like. Less head room. So I like the face to face style better for that reason alone.

i too can vouch for this boat. super clean and killer sound system. if someone is looking for a clean flat bottom gun, they should consider this one.

I too have been on this boat many times and can say it is without a doubt one of the cleanest 20 year old boats I've ever seen. The cockpit looks like it's new still. With the 700's I've personally seen solid low 80's more than once and to the best of my knowledge there have never been any issues with the drives (although I believe the seller has spare drives as well).

Not to mention this boat was featured in an episode of Louie CK. Boat is clean. What is he buying next? I heard maybe an OL....

I forgot about the video I have of the boat being used in an episode of Louie CK. They rented the boat from Gordon just before I bought it. Pretty Cool.

What people sometimes forget is, when you buy a used TG for 35 to 45 grand, its gonna need work. If it needs power freshening that's on average 10K right there. Interior? Theres 5K. So adding 15K to a 45K sale, and you end up in the 60-65K ball park anyway. Just depends when you want to spend the money.....now? or later.

And your numbers are conservative.......lol

SS930 12-11-2014 06:23 AM

$10k on average to refresh twins? A $10k "refresh" gets the pan dropped and some new bearings and maybe a set of lifters slapped in! :D

kreed 12-11-2014 08:42 AM

Yea I was definitely being conservative, but point is that 65-69K isn't asking too much for a Top Gun that is all done and turn key. I mean, I sold OLD SCHOOL for 69K with new owner knowing the engines needed a refresh! So IMO, SMOKIN GUN is no fire sale, but definitely worth the asking price.
