Don't know the boat but it looks like a hell of a deal, by far the cheapest 700 boat out there. If your deal falls through on your top gun let me know, I have a buddy looking for one.

Great price but hurts my feelings!

The original owner is also from our area and builds a new Cig every 2-3 years. Here's two of his other 42X's since then. The 2014 is currently for sale and I think is priced pretty well @ $655k with the Merc 1100's.

have the motors scanned and look at the hours and run time at rpm's. it will tell you how the boat was treated for the most part.

At least price is heading in the right direction. Unless something is seriously wrong with this boat it should have been gone @ $219k

I know it's a different league but I still think this 2014 is a very good deal. Your building a 2015 correct? I am interested what a brand new one is compared to one model year old.

Not 100% sure but I believe there has only been one 2015 42X built so far (could be wrong). There have been SOME changes not sure how to quantify them. PM me your email address and I can forward the pictures.

I do know there are two 42's under construction currently. Performance Boat Center at LOTO has one with w/1100's and ours. Both should be on the water in April.

I know OP wants a 42 but I'd be all over that 39 unlimited in the classified with twin 700's and #6's. Paint and power are bad ass (blue and green boat).

Spoke with David Woods about that boat he said its showroom perfect. Boat and trailer has absolutely every option and then some. Loved my 39

39 with 700's is perfect and a 42 with 700's is a little boring IMO. The 42's handle incredible and don't really come alive until 75-80. I use to cruise my 42 at 80mph all day long because you can feel the boat wants to be there. With the 700's in the 42 you just can't do that.

There's a build thread on this forum titled Project X. Been a little slow due to Miami Boat show. Ordered in November got behind the show boats. Should go to paint next week. Cigarette has been great to deal with.

Not so sure if its the boat or qualified buyers. Most people that want a boat like this are moving up. If they have something they cant move there goes 50% of your market right there.secondly look who has it listed now. If anyone does an internet search thats going to throw up flags as well.

Didn't sell at 219...should sell at 259. Lol

With all that has been documented past and present, why would someone broker it with them, when there are so many other reputable places to broker it with.
