You want to lay a long straight edge along the actual running surface of the bottom, directly in front of the drives. Then see how far below the prop shaft centerline is below that with the drive trimmed parralell to the straight edge.

Does anybody know where I can pick up a 2.5" or 3" bravo 1 drive spacer? My X dimention is just shy of 3" high (which is why I have so much prop ventalation) and I don't want to spend a fortune on a new spacer so If you have one sitting on your work bench and want to let it go for a fair price... let me know.
