Default Tiger upgrades

Ever since I got my Tiger I always wanted to do more with it, today Fed ex brought another piece of the puzzle 4.0 liters... cant wait to see what the old straight bottom does now... SCX's and new transom assemblies are coming as well... I'll post pics as things progress as well as engine numbers. Dave at MDG performance is handling all the build and rerig as I have to work to pay for it

Well been a long winter, with covid and everything the Tiger came back from final upholstery for the cabin, 100% perfect too and all the cabin and cockpit vinyl matches... now just to tune it, try some 32 props and put on the party pullies...

Thanks all, When Dave and I came up with the formula for my engines, we were at near 640 hp and 670 tq on 87 octane... 509's with afr 335's and a 741 cam with dual plug swap, best of 82.9 with that set up. Should put up some impressive numbers on 93. I'm using the xr lowers and having them done by Wilson. it's going to be fun to see where it ends up HP wise and speed wise... I was going to paint from the rub rail up this year but between this and glassdave finishing my 20, I'm going to hold off on paint till next year, that way with all the rigging and such I can dial it in and not have to worry about scratching fresh paint...

What motors are in it now, and what kind of speeds did it run. Looking forward to seeing the progress and the finished product. Good luck, and nice ride in the background.

Cool project Rob! Those 4L's should put a little more crack in that throttle!
