I am selling this 02 38 top gun twin step with its transoms. I bought it to keep in the back of my house in fl as my 47 fountain did not fit .but since then I bought a different house that accommodates the 47. That's the reason why I'm selling the 38..there is nothing wrong with it..the motors are new...$40,000 spent on motors alone..another $10,000 on exhaust,,still waiting on dry tails. Motors have dyno time only. Wondering what you cigarette guys think its worth. should run 95 mph...

Looks to be a very nice piece. Price looks to be a good starting point (maybe a tad bit high?) Hard to say unless you know what boats are really selling for, someone on here will have that answer. With fresh power, looks like a nice deal.

With new power and exhaust, I don't think your asking price is out of line for a nice TS that should run into the lower to mid 90's. Drive longevity would be my only concern as a buyer, but that package has to be worth $120k or more (IMO).

What's the history on the boat? Throttles on the passenger side?

It had 575's in it originally I believe ?

My 46 has a set of sticks on the port (which I disconnected in fear of someone hitting them at an inopportune time), but you're right, I dont think I've seen another 38 T/S with throttles on the other side.
