Not sure but i think it sank? 73 mph with 750's is slow that is for sure...

I read it as $73k for package with the engines and headers, $55k without the engines (and headers?). It says the boat ran upper 70's with that power and wet sump 6's. Doesn't sound too far off considering a 90's TG with that power will run mid 80's.

I looked at it last year also , it was at brad smiths engine shop with the motors out . then engines were built sitting in the shop . the paint was in great shape , interior was decent .
AND i really wanted a twin step boat , wife was against the drives being on boxes and hanging out behind the swim platform and my daughter hitting them while jumping off the boat .

I think you're thinking of Tim McCrays old tiger. The green white and yellow one. The guy that owned it wanted to make it "the fasted tiger ever built". Put the motors on and lost interest. It's also for sale I believe

Tell me more about what you seen when you looked at it.

It seems to be in good shape, Vincent's paint holding up well, I couldn't find a mark on the rub rail or chip in the paint, starboard skag on the drive had a little scuff. I checked out the cabin looks to be in good shape, some speakers need replaced, drives are monsters sittin on those boxes, turned the batteries on, trim up & down works, indicators work, fuel pumps are in it, I shows very well, maybe some interior work to update it

I tried to buy this boat last year (with power) and the guy was sketchy about the motors coming with the boat. Turns out the power was at Brad's having intercoolers installed under the blowers when Brad passed. So it's my understanding the owner never got the power back because he either owed Brad $$ or other legal problems exist. The motors were sweet or course, everything Brad touched was impeccable.

It actually would be a good buy for Phil. Especially if he had a couple motors sitting around. Could flip it for some coin since it doesn't need much but motors.

The boat was never under water that I'm aware of, there's no money owed on it to my buddy Brad or his family, not sure were sketchy comes from? If you were gonna buy it like you say, did you ever come look or dig a little further? I've had thousands of calls and emails on it but I've only had 2 people come look. Originally we had plans of twin turbos with some decent power but I went the easy route.

Right now I have accepted a down payment and the rest is on it's way.

If the sale falls through contact me. I have a guy local who is looking hard and has financing in place

who in the hell would buy that boat hope no one on here did the bottom was bad on it and it sunk great deal for $50,000 they got a pair of #6s drives for $50.000 good move

You have pics of it sunk? I have pics of at least 8 cigs up side down bit not this one. I was privy to a buddies (two friends that owned it actually) tiger that listed to the port side on launch that everyone said was f'd up AND it blew the port motor multiple times but it wasn't this tiger so please so tell if you got a story....inquiring minds want to know.

so what's the story with the boat. the paint looks pretty but i've heard different stories (sunk, bottom delam ?) what was the boat before it was a 6 boat? did it sell?
