Buzzer Sound on Ignition

Hey Guys,

Hope everybody had a good Memorial Day Weekend. I had a question I wanted to run by you guys. When starting your Cig, you turn the key and a buzzer sounds before you start it. Is that buzzer connected to the OIL TEMP Sender or OIL PRESSURE Sender? I ask because I started the Motor over the weekend and I had intermittent buzzing on and off while engine was idling. Gauge's showed pressure to be good and temp was low. It stopped and I couldn't get it to happen again.

Thanks

Oil Pressure. However mine is also connected to water temp and drive lube bottle.

This DROVE ME NUTS when we first got our boat--

I would be just idling along all of a sudden the alarm would go off -- ALL pressures, temperatures etc were normal -- turns out I had the shallow water alarm set much toooooo low-- and that is what was causing the problem-- Heck I was in 8ft of water when it was going off

all the best

you'll also get a buzzer if your drive fluid reservoirs are low, check them as well.
