Bolster ideas

OK, so I really like just about everything better about my Cafe from my Formula, but the bolsters absolutely suck on this thing. I badly miss the hydraulic flip up bottom of the Formula bolsters. I would even settle for a quicker method of dropping and raising the base other than crawling under there and flipping up those stupid little supports.

What have some of you guys with older Cig's done to make the seat bottom more convenient? Are the newer TG bolsters a better or easier design? There has to be a better way than this. Thanks for any ideas.

If you going to start from a clean slate.......why not try these http://greatlakesskipper.com/baja-19...tainless-steel spring latch makes it easy to drop bolster seat plus the finish is nice
and the build is sturdy.

Bought a set of Eddie Marine drop out bolsters for my Mistress. They are heavy duty and you can get them in power, downfall not cheap!

Matt,

If you decide to go with manual Bolsters that are easy to lift back up, uses spring/friction latches and all you do is lift up to latch in the seating position, I have a brand New never installed pair in case you are interested.

Cheers,

Dave

I thought about adding a bolster to mine but it would have to be pretty thick. A regular bolster I`d feel like a 10 year old driving a car , not able to see above the windshield.
