36' Flatdeck speeds
 

We recently purchased a 36 Flatdeck. The boat was a limited edition put out in the early 1980's. We will be re-rigging the entire boat. The power will be 850 HP SC engines. Curious of what speeds to expect. The boat ran 70MPH w/ 520 HP. We are hoping for 90+. Any info or numbers?

what drives are you planning on using? my 35 ran that speed with some 496's that make 530hp, i now have 750's (actual was 810hp on the dyno) the boat runs 80-82, it has trs drives.

The boat currently has TRS, but I was hoping to find some #4's to raise the X some, and hopefully increase speeds

that should help, with 4's and boxes, i raised my x a couple of years ago, too far really, and had to add spacers to get on plane.
i did not see any increases in speed, but i realize i am limited with prop diameter using trs.
