Are those intakes CG legal?

When I bought my boat out of Canada there were several things not CG legal that needed attention.

As if it mattered.Whens the last time the CG stopped anyone to check anything to do with the engine?

For what it's worth dan, I was on my buddies boat and they asked to raise the engine hatch on his 388 and started asking all about specifically if the flame arrestors are stock

I've seen so much that left the manufacturers that is questionable cg legal at best....

True, last time I knew.....AN Fittings and hoses are not CG legal. Never heard of anyone getting a ticket. Just saying

Not so much to do with the coast guard pulling you over and inspecting, rather in the event of an insurance claim, that could be grounds for denying a claim. I've heard it happening to a guy who didn't have USCG fuel pumps. Threw a blower belt, broke a fuel line, boat burnt. Insurance said nope have a nice day,

Yea blows my mind the braided line is not, it's way better then rubber hose all around...

The CG and Erie county sheriffs have been sporadically checking for flame arresters and exhaust mods here on the Niagara river but have yet to hear of a ticket issued unless the person was being a complete dick.

sound tickets written in Alex Bay, along with speed restrictions. sucks. lot to choose from....park police, sheriff, border patrol and the coast guard. not a great combo.

I love being protected and support our law enforcement officers but it makes you wonder how many law enforcement agencies we really need on one body of water

sweeeet! or maybe i posted it because the owners of the boat contacted me multiple times asking if i was still interested in buying because they didnt know if this moxy guy was going to actually come through. but hey, tell me how im wrong, how many people have came said they wanted it, left a deposit then backed out for whatever reason... i think everyone who has sold anything can attest to that.

And it really doesn't matter moxy, you got the boat, I had 3 boats bought out from under me in the past month, as everyone knows nothing is sold until it's paid for paperwork signed and hooked on headed home with the new owner. Not so sure what is so ignorant about that comment. Everyone knows it's true. you really dont get it and likely never will, in all my years of belonging to different forums, from cars, to boats, to motorcycles and RV;s I have yet to experience such an incredibly thick *******. who is dispised by so many, Dude, relax and stop being such an douchbag, do you really want to be that guy? Well I've changed my business model, do boats for fun, build my own stuff���� and work on customers stuff. Pays for the new boat so must be doing ok ;)

Did you get to run this boat yet? How fast is it?

She is home in maitland, come on down and have a peek, she ran 80 no problem on the trailer lol, not sure if she will make the water this year or not.
