Anyone know this boat?
A buddy is going to see the boat on Tuesday of next week. Just wondering if anyone has any inside info on the boat? I know it only has 80ish hours on it, but anyone been on the boat? Its one of the nicest 38's Ive ever seen!

Nice boat. Nice hardware. Hate to pay for that rebuild in 100 hrs. I guess you want to run with Biggins better have the dough to grease the wheel. , sweet boat. 900s w sixes. Looked at it two weeks ago online.

Don't know anything about it, but I drive by it every day and it looks amazing.

The ad says it's an 04 but a few things look off. The engine vents look from the 01-03 range, same with the bolsters and interior. Also doesn't have a wind screen, I've never seen an 04 or newer without one. Not that it really matters but just throwing that out there. I'm sure that thing is a rocket ship.

Could have been built in 03 and called a 04. Were they still building cigs on 188th street then ? I stopped in on my way to Key West and remember a T/G being built that color and might even have pic but can't remember the year. Beautiful boat

Back when it was new, it was a handful to drive. Maybe it had not been dialed in at the time.

Yes. Said it was a very nice boat. It ran 90 at 5000 RPM in flat water. 6500 is the red line so there was plenty left.He has never had a boat of this caliber so he was alittle intimidated. I think hes going to pass on the boat because of how radical it is. As you know, he has a young child that he wants to take out next year. ...........Maybe its something you should look at Frank!

I would sell my 04 with 525's if he's looking for something stock

Didn't Greek Lightning have that boat built. If not he had one very similar?

So the boat only has 80hr but yet has had several different owners, it would not be a stretch or going out on a limb to say that the previous owners all gave it a shot at sorting it out. And when they realized it was not going to happen sold it to the next buyer. which was not hard to do being a cig with wild paint and big power.

Kinda what I'm wondering... "if it seems to good to be true"
|
It wasn't in fresh water when it was doing a poker run down in the keys with us years ago.
|
Looks like it's name should be "HOP, SKIP, & JUMP" since that's what you'd have to do to get across the boat in the summertime sun.. Damn good looking boat, though!
