That a very nice looking cafe.
Did the kne that was at TNT ever sell? It was a 99 and looked literally brand new. Cobras or chief power I believe. Think that boat was best bag for buck in the cafe market currently. This one is beautiful but I agree a bit over priced. |
Beautiful. I like those types of paint schemes. Pretty sure there are a few Top Guns with similar paint.

Saw the price tag and said "oh sick I gotta send this to.... Oh wait, no motors or trailer. F'n A lol

There was a cafe for sale not long ago, that had tired old TRS drives, cable steering, 450hp engines, on a poor trailer, that someone thought was worth 60k because it had fresh paint.
Theres a another Cafe with no power and #3's where a guys asking 40k here. I'd GLADLY pay 5k more for a boat with #5's and boxes over regular 3's and no boxes. Theres another Cafe with 500's and bravo's , asking price 63k...... I agree this one might be priced on the high side without power, but at least it has about 20-25k in drives, boxes, steering on the back end. Those aren't TRS, bravos, or #3's. It looks to be a really nice piece. I personally, would rather buy something like this, with a real set of drives on it, add my own power/rigging to it, rather than have to go thru someone elses stuff thats usually in need of an overhaul/redo. As far as a trailer, getting one with the boat purchase is nice, IF its sitting on a nice myco, manning, eagle, etc, thats built for the hull. But if its a POS, I'd rather them knock a few bucks off, and get myself a new trailer. IMO, for a guy who loves Cafe's, this one certainly has the setup for big power. Building HP is easier and cheaper these days, than re rigging a boat with #5's or 6's or arnesons. |

Fact is the boat is ready for big power. Blower scoops already in place. Drives to hold the power. I loved my 3A's and mine were mounted high so they acted like 5s. Had almost 900HP. Transmissions were Huber 1200s. Just changed the oil in the drives, never gave me an issue. In fact the oil always looked brand new when I changed it. Drives are a pay me now, or pay me later sort of thing. I wish my TS had SSMs. Put some power and with those boxes you could have a rare 100+ mph cafe. Haven't seen one of those
Made a mistake about the hatch, going to need mods to accommodate blowers/ chillers |
I don't 35K is out of line with those drives and the nice condition of the boat. I wouldn't mind having it myself!

Then it is time for you to buy again!!!!
