How do they lay the mahogany floor without caulking it and then the panels moving and flexing when the boat is underway? Also the floor looks very slippery with the gloss finish ???? |

Not sure, but the one on my playboy is from Phil. Maybe their was a variation. He used to have them, but not a big market. Remember they didn't make very many 35 T/S. So if it is different, he probably doesn't have one. Boat is 15-17 old model. Any glass fab shop should be able to cut some Lexan and make it happen by making a template. |
I have considered it, but there is a lineup of people who want to buy it. I get offers and harassed a lot....lol. Very, very low hours on the new power. Its just a great boat

Is floor in the cockpit actually real mahogany? I see in your pic above, that it looks like you are brushing on, im guessing, a polyurethane? If thats the case, did you have to do any sanding, before brushing on?

Yes, real mahogany. Light sanding and a coat of semi gloss varnish.

Good stuff, did not know that. How is it secured? Screwed or adhesive of some sort?
