That one is in the Bahamas now.

I think I saw a Dave Hunter Playboy Painted for sale in Ohio not to long ago, not my paint taste, but everyone has their own taste.

I the like mahoganey step plates, thats a nice touch. Are you referring to the boat with the yellow interior?

That was NK boat first
Went to me
Then to LZH
Now cig rocket

12 TS 35 hulls built 2000-2004
Playboy 2000-2002
Mistress 2003-2004

Last one or two may have been 35 TG TS

Great boat... With bravo 500 it's better that a 38
Plains better
Accelerate harder
Turns way better

That is boat #1 that went on tour when the playboy first came out. It has the complete flat hatch and is the only one like that. The #2 boat that sank and didn't have the wood floors had the newer style hatch, as mine does

Cig brought the original Playboy to Grand Lake in OK when Ugly Johns was a Cig dealer. We had a fun weekend with it. Jim Lee still has a 35 T/S, but it's not a Playboy edition.

I absolutely love the grey interior all the silver accents against the mohagony. I really liked the blue one as well. The dark blue was nice.

Thanks to all for posting pics and some history too!... Keep it coming.

Has anybody ever put bigger power in these... i.e.- blower motors or arnesons?

X2, thanks guys. Do the boats bring more money because so few were built? If not they should, all of them are beautiful.
Wonder why Cig decided to go with the 35's instead of 38's?

They weren't going to screw with the name of their Top Selling and Produced boat the "TOP GUN.". At the time in 2000-2001 they had not been making a 35 since they discontinued the cafe. What better way to reintroduce the classic 35 with adding steps the Playboy name and giving it a classic look when at the time everyone was building super wild paint jobs. Cigarette went back to Traditional Timeless Look... When the agreement with Playboy Ran out in December of 01, the 35 TS became the Iconic Mistress name. Price was super close between the 35 and 38, so they dropped the 35, they only made a few of the Mistresses.

Not sure if it's just the playboy name or not but I get a chubby every time I see one.
