I spoke with the seller a couple weeks ago and have some videos of the boat running down the lake and such. Trouble is he knows nothing about the motors/internals/hours..

Tell him you've traced the engine work to a guy with a little shop just outside Toledo that was closed down 3 years ago for using sub standard parts and child labor. Mercury sued him, he went broke and did a runner. Authorities caught him at the Mexican border and he's currently behind bars.

You have now planted the seed and can offer him 25k.

I'm always really bugged out when the seller or owner has no idea about the power.. Wtf...

Im from Toledo, the motors are chebby big blocks and they are PURPLE with red trim and shiny valve covers. They got stainless marine exhaust and carburetors so you dont have to worry about those pesky IAC valve thingys acting up ruining your weekend. They even have 3/4 race grind cams so it not only goes fast it has that cool lumpy idle around the docks. The guy I bought it from told me it was Don Arrowsnows personal boat, so its built extra strong but also extra light so it goes at least 90 and 6 footers are no problem. Now if you dont have anymore questions, my tacos are getting cold.

I actually do have Don' Aranow's 1984 Mercedes 500 SEC with documents to prove it.
He bought it new from the Mercedes dealer in Miami.

Any takers on oso before i put it up for sale.

Does it come with the bullet holes in it, would be rare.
