Feedback request on 2003 Cigarett in Chanute KS
 

I am looking to see if anyone knows anything about this boat in Chanute KS, we are getting close to buying it but wanted to reach out to our Cig family to see what they know, please respond when you have a minute.

I don't know the boat..........He likes the word Slick, lol............it was on KC craigslist for a while, I was going to run down and take a look but never got around to it, I would of thought it would of had EFI engines from the factory, Id find out who built them, looks clean in the pics, good luck.

The motors are Cobra built - 565/572 Chevy Big Blocks, he says nothing radical and they can run 87-91 Octane, I was looking for a set of 525 EFI's, but the boats are just not out there, my previous boat was carb'd so I am not too scared of these motors. Thank you for your feedback.

Boat used to be local to me, Last time I saw it was a few years ago. It's pretty and it's fast and the seller is going to make a pretty penny on it at his asking price. Pics in his ad are the originals from when it was for sale here in Virginia.

It's been for sale at the same asking price on LOTO craigslist for a long time.

yeah I spoke to a individual who saw the boat in person, and the pics do not represent the current condition of the boat, going to pass on this one.

Yes, and sold for a little less than that, it's a no bs 100 mph boat that was well maintained but was sold at a fire sale price due to a newborn. I barely missed it due to the current seller. Based on hours listed in the ad it was never used by the current owner.

I saw the boat a few years back. The boat was 102-105mph. Sounded Nasty and the Cobra Power at the times that I saw it ran like a top. Depending on how you drive that package could enjoy drives.....lol

Glad you found out. Many times boats being sold use pictures that are way outdated. I hate that, especially since most people have a phone and it isn't hard to take up to date pictures of everything. Its not like people aren't going to realize it when they see it in person. Don't waste people's time. I never saw the point in trying to cover up condition.

It has slope backs on it( which didn't come out til 05') so it looks like it has ;)
