Ehhh, there was a certain level of friction in the marriage for a while. Once she saw it in person, she was sold as well though. And letting her name it smoothed it over quite a bit, surprisingly??

It still needs some tuning modifications via Mark Boos at Precision Marine Performance Engines.... whose shop is only about 20 minutes away.

Very fortunate, one of the best in the Biz.

I hear you may be coming up for a few weeks. You bringing the new Ride?

Hey Scott. Not sure if it will be ready by the time we leave for Oklahoma. Dinged up the props during the Tickfaw and they are still at Hering. While the props were down, I had a whining sound from one of the whipples, so I had them sent in for rebuild as well (waiting on parts.. the story of my life). Will likely be rolling in the family cruiser at this rate. IF it is ready by the shootout, I may have it brought up for that weekend as we are hosting a couples weekend with some friends up there. If I see you out, I may come over, I'd look to look your ride over now that I know what I am looking at. I have a couple things I would like to compare for my reference.

NIce. We were tied up with Tommy and Mary this weekend. Turns out her brother and I go WAY back! I am talking about 1980 or before. Small Small World

Wow, that boat is Amazing! Nice work brentadkins!

I agree on the trailer upgrade. If you are not keeping it on a lift, you are going to want a trailer that is going to load a lot easier. At a minimum, a split bow stand upgrade will help a lot and be better on your paint; especially since I bet you winch the boat on rather than drive it on. Something that works for me: spray the bow stand/roller down with spray wax before you retrieve the boat. This lubricates what touches the boat (and your paint), and whatever residue is left on the boat is just wax that wipes right off. This is the product I swear by:

I also use it to remove the scum line as soon as the boat comes out of the water too.
