Engine hatch
 

Im looking for a early 90's Top gun engine hatch, unmolested so I can put the sun pad back on mine, mine currently has blower scoops on it and all my junk fits under the hatch.Lemme know whatcha got. :whistle::whistle:

Crap . . . . . I pitched three of them. I end up with one or two a year doing blower hatch swaps.

Any better pics of your hatch? Scoops molded in or just screwed on?? Id sure like some ICs but no room..

scoops are just screwed down to the deck

Why dont you just unscrew them and put a piece of flat fiberglass over the hole and put the pad over that? You can probably do a full mirrored acrylic treatment on the inside to cover the there as well.

hello, dumb question, I want to redo my engine hatch, make two hatchs opening to the sides instead of one huge hatch, so to the question,,,do the scoops really help THAT MUCH??????

pull the scoops and fill the holes, if the time ever comes ya need a real blower hatch i have the molds for three different kinds :D

Not at this time. If there was enough of a demand it could happen.

Vincent Graphics has a custom mold for a Cafe. He just finished the one for Carter38's & should now be working on mine.

I wouldn't need one. But I do agree someone might. Carter and Vincent would be the ones to do it if so.

I agree. We originally talked about doing the full 575 hatch he has. But that was going to add so much height that my little 525's would have got lost under there. Talk about a disappointment to others when at the dock i raise the hatch & there isnt anything special to look at- I have that problem with women as is, dont need it on the boat. :p So just doing the top flare worked out perfect for looks & giving the extra clearance i needed.

The hatch on the carters cafe is awesome.

My bullet now has a blower hatch. Did it after the dog dishes but it came out great
