Hatch Hydraulic Motor Question -

On my cafe it is located under the rear seat. How do I fill it - looks like there might be a small filling fitting on the top......

I had a frustrating weekend and have decided I'm going to sell this thing and take a year or two off. Thought I'd keep it forever, but I've had a change of heart after this year.

If you remove that fitting there is a dipstick to tell you what your level is.
I used a 2' piece of 1/4" plastic line attached to the end of a small funnel....does the trick.
Don't give up....I know how frustrating this stuff gets, you just have to keep plugging away at it.....Hopefully worth it in the end!

Quit complaining, at least you are getting to use it! ;)
Sorry you having issues. Definitely makes you question if the fun is worth the aggravation.

Thanks eightsec - I'll look at it tonight or tomorrow hopefully. It's been losing a little fuel every year for the last 3 or 4 summers so it isn't a large leak, but when if finally decided to be low enough not to work a horrible downpour came rolling across the water and I barely got it shut in time. I'm just over it - the kids would rather be on the JetSki, I don't have the time to really start improving the boat with work travel and children so I think I'm going to clean it up, snap some pictures and let it go - I hate to do it, both my kids went on their first boat ride at less than 2 weeks old on that boat and have grown up on it but life moves on.

HAHA - used it 5 times this year, 4 of which I had problems:

Brand new Shift Cable Bellows failed on each side 2 weeks apart (I think they were Chinese sold as OEM).
Power Steering belt jumped off a warped PS pulley, landed UNDER the water pump belt and screwed them BOTH up.
Super charger started making noise, look back and it's lost a seal so I shipped that off and I just got it back last weekend and now one of the motors seems to have a misfire which I have to run down.

My passion for it right now isn't high!!

I do the same as eightsec but I also used a turkey gravey basting thing bought at the food store. With it I had better control of how much to put in. Nothing worse then red oil over everything.
