1979 mistress

Hi. Does anyone know the mistress at ocean performance? It's supposed to have 496's (Early gen) and no 3 drives.

Sorry, can seem to attach a photo.

Thanks- Bryan

Im going there(ocean perf) tomorrow...

Kreed. If you could get any info on it, I'd appreciate it. I live six hours away and hate the idea of diving out there if it's junk.

Is it the one with red drives?

Full Force 01-10-2017 09:51 PM

Good drives... wonder how much most are sooooo overpriced...

BRT 01-11-2017 04:24 AM

JD- yes the one with red drives.

I was thinking that it might be priced high, but without seeing it wasn't sure. Not a lot of options out there right now sub 20k.

What's the price? If small power I would think low 20's tops is pricier decent of boat is nice.

Not sure on the hull itself, but the hatch was homemade and wet, the fairing was ok at best. One drive has been apart in last couple years, it threw an input shaft iirc

BRT 01-11-2017 08:57 AM

I was told it could be bought for 18. I spoke with Chris and he didnt know much about it other than he took it out for a quick run.

One engine, rebuilt. 10hrs on it. They both run good. One drive had bellows, bell housing, and u-joints replaced. Boat needs some interior work. Needs cockpit cover and odds and ends. But it's all there, and is water ready. boat runs over 70 as is. PM me... can get it cheaper than 18K

J-Bonz 01-11-2017 11:33 AM
