Not for everyone but I like to try outside the box things

That's awesome, let us know if it works. I just bought another set, apparently you were borrowing a pair of 18" dia. that I wanted to try, so I just went and bought another set of 4 blades. I have three. AND, I sent my 17.5" dia to BBlades to add "cup". So, I may have a pair for sale if you're interested....

In regards to drive spacers, -1 or -2" down, What do they look like on the inside? How are the shafts long enough to just "add" 1 or 2" of depth? I guess I can Google and look at pics to figure out how they work.

Do they just use a coupler to "extend" the shaft?

That is awesome! Have you ran the boat with them yet?

No, the drive spacers, not the prop spacer, Timmy.

gotcha.

Dan, did you ever try drive spacers on your setup? I was curious if -1" would benefit my situation. Going to wait on the big diameter props first before I go that route.

I spaced down 2" . went slower planning was marginally better

What did spacing down do to the ride? Did it help it carry the bow better? Help with lessoning any porpoiseing? Trying to figure out if spacing down would help me out.
