Top Gun - Arnesons - For Sale
https://www.offshoreonly.com/classif...00-o71049.html
Just put my boat up for sale and it is now listed . Home flooded from Harvey and need cash. I have title. I am giving this boat away. If you know anyone that is looking for a boat, this may be the one for them. Or maybe it is not. $69,500. 1994 Cigarette Top Gun. Arneson ASD7M drives. Hering 18 Diameter, 28 Pitch, 18 rake props. They have been labbed by Hopkins props. 2015 Manning Trailer, 21,000lb capacity. 110psi tires. Triailler is in perfect condition. Hate to see the boat go. I have over $200,000 in this boat since I bought it in 2005. It has been a fresh water boat all its life except the last 4 years (30 hours in brackish). The entire boat has less than 300 hours on it since 1994. One engine has about 10 hours on rebuild. The other engine has about 100 hours on rebuild. One transmission has about 4 hours on it. My oil transmission cooler failed and water got in my transmission. BAM rebuilt my transmission. I have 2 new transmission coolers now for each transmission. The other transmission has about 50 hours since Arneson conversion and no water ever got into the transmission. Blowers have about 100, so they may need to be freshened up in a year or so. Boost levels still ready normal. One fuel pump needs to be replaced right now, but I have not had a chance to mess with it. My home is upside down from the flood and I am selling the boat as is. The next owner can change it out. Other than the one fuel pump not giving me enough fuel pressure, I don't know of any other issues. If you know anyone that is interested, they can look up my add or call me at 281-743-5390. Regards, David

I just got props tweaked by Hopkins props and gained 5-6 mph at 3300rpm. 44 to 46 mph at 3300 rpm. with full tank of gas and 6 people in boat. I was very happy because I rarely run my boat over 3500rpms. Don't know WOT. Had fuel pressure problem and backfire at 3600 rpm. Put boat back on trailer and I have not had the boat out on the water since then. House Flooded. I tried WOT once. WOT before prop modification was 76 at 5650 rpms but I was still accelerating when I pulled back on the throttles. Too fast and too many rpms. I would assume I could hit 80 mph now. The boat was a 68mph boat with the bravos. I don't like going that fast. I wanted Arneson Drives for the rooster tail and to have drives that don't break. I did not get them for speed. I think I know why I have fuel pressure issues. Before I took the boat out, the mechanical fuel pump bolts came loose and it was flopping around a little bit and I could see the belt shaking. I knew that was not right. I tightened it up. I think it got damaged a little.

Came cross this video on youtube and realized it must be your TG with the ASD's. Love the setup.
