Default Top Gun Hatch Seals

I apologize if it has been posted before. I was working on the boat this past weekend and when in the cabin I noticed daylight in some areas between the hatch and deck. Any idea on where to get new hatch seals or if some of you have made your own what did you use? I assume the 35 Top Gun hatches are the same as the 38's. Thank you in advance.

I think it's the small gap where the two ends of the seal strip meets. Put some clear gasket sealer on it. Let it set up and close hatch. I think I did on the boat once. Also, Lipship sells them.

I think you can get D seals pretty much any hardware type store. There are even different options like ribbed (for her pleasure) seals. I changed mine over to the ribbed.

When you measure yours, please post the dims of the factory D-seal. I'd like to order some from McM as well.

we just re-did ours...it’s 8’ across and 5-6’ down each side. I’d buy 20’. It’s cheap enough.

Thanks for the reply. I will check my engine hatch seals too. Sorry, I was talking about the deck hatches of the cabin.

Here is the measurements of the seal, same size as Lip-Ship sales.
